We’ll be joined by Enzo Barbi, who leads the winery today and will guide us through the history, terroir, and craft behind these remarkable wines. Founded on ancient soils once covered by a prehistoric sea and revived by the Barbi family in 1973, Decugnano dei Barbi has become a symbol of quality and innovation, producing Umbria’s first traditional-method sparkling wine and Italy’s first noble-rot dessert wine. Today, they continue to create elegant, terroir-driven wines with authenticity and sustainability at their core.
