This is more than a wine dinner for me. I grew up next door to the winery, at my Nonno and Nonna’s house. As a child, I spent long sunny afternoons watching the winemakers at work, and that’s where my passion for wine was born. These wines are part of my story, my family, and my home. Today, I am proud and honoured to share them with you. Thanks to my friend Kevin and 79 North, Cupertinum wines are now arriving in the UK for the very first time. About Cupertinum & The Wines of Puglia Founded in 1935, Cantina Sociale di Copertino is one of Puglia’s historic cooperative wineries, deeply rooted in community, tradition, and respect for the land. Located in the heart of Salento, the winery is known for expressive, sun-driven wines that reflect the warmth and character of southern Italy. Puglian wines are generous, vibrant, and full of personality, shaped by Mediterranean sunshine, sea influence, and rich soils. Expect depth, structure, and authenticity in every glass. We are delighted to welcome Giuseppe and his family from Copertino, who will guide us through the wines, sharing stories, traditions, and the true spirit of Puglia.
